Coaching for local day shows will be billed at a rate of $60/hour, which includes drive time, preparation, and on-site coaching
The total coaching time will be split evenly among all attending riders
Time will be tracked from departure to return, including any time spent assisting with preparation or cool-down
Coaching at away shows will be arranged on a case-by-case basis, but the general structure is as follows:
Show days are considered 10-hour workdays and are billed at a flat rate of $600/day
This rate is split evenly among all participants, including the coach if she is also competing
One hour is deducted per horse the coach rides during the show (to account for personal competition time)
Example: If 5 students attend and the coach rides 2 horses, only 8 hours are charged. $600 ÷ 7 shares (5 riders + 2 horses ridden) = $85 per person per day
Travel Costs
All travel-related expenses for the coach (mileage, lodging, tolls, etc.) will be shared equally among all attending riders Riders will receive an estimate of costs in advance whenever possible
